Why 2026 Is My Year: Habits, Goals, and Growth

by | Jan 15, 2026 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

2025 taught me a lot — mostly that life doesn’t always go according to plan. I took an unexpected break from my usual content rhythm, felt creatively drained, and found myself unmotivated in more ways than one. But sometimes, hitting pause is exactly what you need to reset.

Now? I’m claiming 2026 as my year — the year of growth, rediscovery, and becoming the best version of myself. I’m beyond excited to welcome my first baby into the world, and I’m also setting powerful goals to come back stronger, more inspired, and more driven than ever before.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, distracted, or like you lost your spark… then grab a cup of coffee and join me. This year is about renewal, purpose, and momentum — and we’re just getting started. 🚀

I’ve already created nine non-negotiable resolutions that have helped me kick off 2026 in the best way possible! These aren’t just goals — they’re commitments I’m making to myself to build lasting change. I’m determined to turn them into real, everyday habits — and I’m not taking this lightly. Research shows it typically takes consistent effort for a behavior to become automatic, with many studies finding that forming a new habit can take around 66 days of repetition.

So yes — I’m fully committed. No shortcuts, no half-hearted attempts — I’m in it for the long haul, and I can’t wait to see how these habits transform not just my daily routine, but my whole year.

  • 🌅 Morning & Evening Gratitude Moments
Taking intentional time in the morning and at night to practice gratitude has been a game-changer. With how chaotic life can get, it’s easy to forget to pause and appreciate the good around us. Using a guided gratitude journal with daily prompts has helped me truly reflect and start & end each day on a positive note.
  • 💄 Getting Ready Every Day
Even if it’s just a few minutes of simple skincare or a little makeup, doing a mini “get-ready” routine each morning has completely shifted my mindset. It makes me excited to start my day — like I’m stepping into my goals with confidence and intention!
  • 🛏 Making My Bed Each Morning
I make my bed as soon as I get up, and it immediately gives me a small win right off the bat. Checking something off my to-do list before breakfast feels so satisfying and sets the tone for productivity. All of my bedroom favs
  • 💪 More Movement (Not Daily — But More Often)
I always feel better when I move my body, so this year I’m committed to more movement overall — even if it’s not every single day. Compared to 2025, this is a huge step forward, and I’m celebrating it! I love adding a weighted vest to my walks!
  • 💧 Drinking More Water — 80 oz a Day
I’m setting a realistic water goal: 80 oz a day. I definitely feel better, clearer, and more energized when I stay hydrated — so this one’s non-negotiable. My favorite water bottle
  • 💍 Wearing My Oura Ring Every Day
I’m absolutely obsessed with my Oura Ring! Tracking my sleep, recovery, and overall health has helped me stay connected to how my body really feels and what it needs.
  • 💊 Taking My Vitamins Every Morning
Another small but powerful habit — taking my vitamins daily is all about feeling good and showing up as the best version of myself. I love these to add to my daily smoothie!
  • 📌 Looking at My Vision Board Daily
My goals feel real when I see them every single day. I even had my vision board printed on a mug — and now I sip my morning coffee with reminders of my dreams right in front of me. It’s a constant nudge toward what I’m building.
  • 🕶 Wearing Blue-Light Glasses with Screens

Since I spend so much time in front of screens for work, my blue-light glasses help prevent headaches and eye strain. It’s a small habit that makes a big difference in how I feel by the end of the day! The best glasses.

As I wrap this up, I want you to remember that real change doesn’t happen overnight — but it does start with small, intentional steps. These habits have already helped me reclaim my motivation and step into 2026 with confidence, purpose, and excitement, and I hope they inspire you to create your own version of a meaningful year too. Whether you pick one habit or all nine, the most important thing is that you show up for yourself consistently. I’d love to hear which habits you’re taking with you into the new year — comment below, share your journey, and let’s support each other as we grow, evolve, and make this year our best one yet!
