When I think about the moments that have made this pregnancy so unforgettable, our recent trip to Seattle — my hometown — for my baby shower immediately comes to mind. 🥹✨ I hadn’t seen most of my friends and family in so long, and to be able to travel there pregnant and celebrated like that meant more than I can put into words. Even though it was a super quick trip — thanks to a New Jersey snowstorm rerouting our plans — it was truly one of the most special weekends we’ve had. I felt so loved from start to finish. 💗
The best part? I didn’t have to stress about any of the planning or prepping. My amazing friends took the reins, and all I had to do was show up! They gave me just one detail — the theme — and said “that’s it, enjoy!” 🤍
The theme they chose was “We can barely wait” 🐻🧸 — which was such a clever, adorable twist because we literally can’t wait to meet our baby boy! Every corner of the shower was filled with cute teddy bears and warm, whimsical details that made me smile the whole time. It was playful, heart-felt, and so us — I still think about it daily.
This was the perfect dress for a bump! It runs extremely big — I’m typically a size 12/XL but a L worked great for me! It was so comfortable and stretchy, which was amazing for my growing bump, but honestly — I’d wear it even when not pregnant! It’s one of those pieces that feels effortless and flattering, no matter the occasion
I LOVE an arch stand for photos — they instantly elevate any celebration 🎈! My friend actually purchased the stand for my wedding shower in 2024 and we’ve used it for so many other events since then! It’s honestly such a great investment if you’re in your hosting era and love capturing those picture-perfect moments. Balloon arches and garlands create a gorgeous focal point for photos and set such a festive tone for the whole party — people really linger around them and snap so many pictures!
These balloons were the perfect touch for this arch. Personally, putting something like that together would stress me out, but my friends absolutely nailed it — they somehow made it look effortless and cohesive with the theme! And how adorable was this ifesize bear for our photo opps? It was such a cute addition and made every picture feel so whimsical and fun.
The food was all so cute and festive too! This gingham teddy bear banne hanging above the food table added that extra adorable detail I couldn’t stop looking at. And these bamboo cocktail picks were a game-changer — not only were they stylish but they were super helpful for everyone when grabbing bites throughout the shower.
One of my favorite parts of the shower was this DIY onesie station! It was SO FUN to see everyone’s creativity — I honestly can’t wait to have baby boy wear these onesies all personally made by family and friends! We had different sizes so we’ll have outfits for all the different stages of baby’s first year, and provided plush bear patches, fluffy bear patches, iron on sayings, and tons of letter patches in a variety of colors! . Guests could use an iron to put everything on, but we also loved using the Cricut EasyPress Mini Heat Press — it was incredibly simple to use and got the job done perfectly. Onesie decorating stations are such a meaningful, memorable activity at showers because they turn decor into keepsakes you’ll treasure forever.
The baby shower was absolutely perfect — I honestly would not change a single thing! My friends did such an amazing job, and I’m so thankful for their friendship, love, and support through every step of this journey. 💗
